This is Myrl June Clark
Meet Clark & June’s namesake, my grandmother Myrl June Clark. This is her circa 1909 in Guymon, OK. She taught me how to bake, always had homemade bread and never got mad when I made mud pies in her backyard. Fun Fact, her father was the sheriff in Guymon and caught depression era bank robber Robert “Big Bob” Brady after an eleven-day chase into Carlsbad Cavern. She would have been tickled pink to have a company named after her.
Food brings us together
My earliest memories were of Grandma Clark's kitchen. I remember the smells, the activity, and most of all, the love. Myrl June Clark put love into each meal that she cooked for us. No matter how full we were, there was always room for one more piece of pie.
Tragically, many children won’t grow up with these memories. Food insecurity is still a problem facing many families across our communities.
No Child Should go hungry
Our mission is to fill the immediate needs of those affected. In honor of Myrl June Clark, each candle purchased provides a meal to a child in need.
