Meet Clark & June’s namesake, my grandmother Myrl June Clark. This is her circa 1909 in Guymon, OK. She taught me how to bake, always had homemade bread and never got mad when I made mud pies in her backyard. Fun Fact, her father was the sheriff in Guymon and caught depression era bank robber Robert “Big Bob” Brady after an eleven-day chase into Carlsbad Cavern. She would have been tickled pink to have a company named after her.
If you came into Myrl June Clark’s house, you would always leave with a full belly. Her family recipes live on today and continue to make memories.
In honor of Myrl June Clark, each candle purchased provides a meal to a child in need.
Our candles are poured into reusable, 22K gold foiled cocktail glasses emblazoned with your state. Once your candle is gone, we recommend removing the wick with needle nose pliers. Hand washing is recommended for your glassware. Pour yourself a drink and celebrate with your nearest and dearest.
Cheers to the places you celebrate. We are happy to be along for the ride.
